I just finished this first book in The Desert Prince triology and it was excellent. I loved her haughty Frenchman Xavier and the lovely redhead English lawyer, Laura. Their journey in finding each other and happiness was rocky and brief. I encourage you to read this series about three men finding out they have a ailing father who is a sheikh and brothers they did not know existed.
An English rose ready for plucking?
When billionaire playboy Xavier de Maistre discovers he's in line to rule the kingdom of Kharastan, heis not eager to claim his birthright. Until he meets Laura Cottingham, the English lawyer who confirms the news. Laura is as fresh and pure as a newly bloomed rose. Xavier decides he will embrace his heritage and indulge his intense need to possess Laura.
But is Laura ready and willing to be tamed and taken by this desert prince?

I must admit, I've never read Meredith's books and this one I found at Barnes and Noble. I didn't realize it was a January release, it was someone new and a "sheikh" book so I bought it and was very entertained. It's obvious this author has knowledge of the medical field and has done extensive research.
This is a great book, an East meets West but more importantly a story that focuses on family, renewing love, self discovery and passion. It's very deep, full of emotion, pride and determination.
